Every year, the week before the 4th, Windsor, Ontario, Canada and Detroit, Michigan put on a spectacular fireworks display over the river that separates the two cities. Our business office is just outside of downtown Detroit, the building is somewhere between 35 & 40 feet tall and we climb up on the roof (it's flat) with our chairs and enjoy the display. These pictures cannot begin to show how spectacular the whole thing is because I'm just an amateur photographer and we are a couple miles away from the fireworks display. It never fails to take my breath away and stir up any feelings of patriotism that I might have let dwindle.
